Rep. Andy Harris, MD, currently serving Maryland’s 1st district in U.S. Congress, recently expressed his views on various political subjects through a series of tweets. These cover a range of issues from the use of taxpayer dollars to media appearances and opinions on public library programming.

On March 27, 2025, Harris argued against what he views as the misuse of taxpayer funds. He tweeted "Congress should not allow the use of taxpayer dollars to push biased and political agendas that do not even reflect America."

The following day, on March 28, Harris announced an upcoming media appearance. He informed his audience that he would soon be on a television segment, saying "Coming up on @RealAmVoice soon. 8am. Tune in!"

Later that day, Harris commented on programming by the Anne Arundel County Public Library. He criticized specific events or exhibits promoted by the library, stating "If the Anne Arundel County Public Library insists on programming like this, then my position would be that they shouldn’t receive any federal taxpayer dollars….Events or exhibits like this would be repulsive to the majority of American taxpayers."
