Also at 13:23 UTC, Harris addressed his views on the Democratic Party’s standing with voters. He stated: "There’s a reason Democrats hit their lowest favorability rating in 35 YEARS:

They’ve abandoned common sense—and voters know it."
Andy Harris has represented Maryland’s 1st district in Congress since 2011, succeeding Frank Kratovil. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in the Maryland Senate from 1999 to 2011 and previously worked in the Maryland House of Representatives. Born in New York City in 1957, Harris currently resides in Cambridge and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Johns Hopkins University.
