Today, the House Freedom Caucus Board of Directors issued a statement emphasizing their firm stance on maintaining the conservative achievements in recent legislation. The board declared that they would not accept any attempts by the Senate to alter or diminish the spending reductions and rollbacks included in what they refer to as the "One Big Beautiful Bill."

"The House Freedom Caucus delivered real victories for the American people in the One Big Beautiful Bill," stated the board. They further clarified, "We want to be crystal clear: if the Senate attempts to water down, strip out, or walk back the hard-fought spending reductions and IRA Green New Scam rollbacks achieved in this legislation, we will not accept it."

The board reiterated their commitment to upholding these legislative changes and emphasized their unity against any potential modifications by stating, "The House Freedom Caucus Board will stand united holding the line." They concluded with a reminder of their purpose: "The American people didn’t send us here to cave to the swamp — they sent us here to change it."
