CITY OF ABERDEEN: Aberdeen Farmer's Market to be held August 16

City of Aberdeen issued the following announcement on Aug. 14.

Looking for fresh vegetables, wine, sweet fruits, homemade cupcakes, delicious dog treats, and more? Then the Aberdeen Farmer's Market is the place to be! Not only can you purchase your fresh, locally grown, homemade, or handmade items, but you can also enjoy dinner in the Park! Our food vendors offer empanadas, pit sandwiches, burgers, chicken, beans, and more.

BRING YOUR STUDENT WITH YOU!!! Those 12th grade and under can enter into a free drawing for a brand new USB backpack filled with school supplies. But wait. there's more! The winner will also receive a free hair cut courtesy of Celebrations Salon. In addition, Crooked Creek Farm has donated a yummy pack of homemade jerky as an after school snack. Seriously, this is a great Back to School Starter Pack!!!! Stop by with your student at The Nut Roasters table, and fill out an entry form.

*Students must be at the Market to enter. Parents are NOT permitted to fill out a form for a child not at the Market.
