City of Aberdeen issued the following announcement on Aug. 1.
Celebrations is contributing a FREE haircut to the prize pack!
We're giving one special student the supplies they need this year! All they have to do is come out to the Markets!
From now until 8/30, students through 12th grade are invited to come out to the Farmer's Markets on Thursdays from 4-7 in Festival Park, to put their name in for a FREE backpack and tons of supplies. We simply need their name, grade, school and parent's contact information. Each week, the entry forms will be located on a different vendors table.
Interested in donating supplies for a child in school? The Aberdeen Police Department will soon begin their P.A.C.K. campaign. More to follow.
Please note, your child must be in attendance at the Market with you to fill out the entry form. Parent's are not permitted to fill out a form for a child who is not with them.
