City of Havre de Grace issued the following announcement on July 6.
At Monday’s City Council Meeting Mayor Martin presented SPC Samantha Castillo with a city flag and a challenge coin. The flag was flown over Tydings Memorial Park February 15, 2018 from 6:28 a.m. to sundown.
SPC Castillo is currently serving in the Army National Guard and plans on joining the Army Corps of Engineers.
Personally knowing Sam we are certain she will have a very long and distinguished career and will continue making our community proud. We thank her for her service.
