City of Aberdeen issued the following announcement on July 3.
The Krouse elevated water tank located at the corner of Ray Avenue and West Bel Air Road is currently undergoing a major remediation program that will include structural upgrades, electrical upgrades, blasting to remove the current coating (paint) and application of multiple layers of coatings to both the interior and exterior of the structure.
The tank’s last significant upgrade was completed in 1996. This work is part of the City’s program to maintain our current facilities to continue to provide water and sanitary sewer services to the residents and businesses of the City of Aberdeen. The project is expected to be completed by the end of July, 2018.
