CITY OF HAVRE DE GRACE: Ribbon Cutting for Accessibility Ramp at Tydings Park to be held July 26

City of Havre de Grace issued the following announcement on.

The City of Havre de Grace will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 6 p.m. to commemorate the installation of the new accessibility ramp at Tydings Park. The ADA (Americans With Disabilities Act) compliant ramp, connects Tydings Park and the Havre de Grace Yacht Basin.

Since taking office in 2015, the Martin administration has completed several projects that increase safety and accessibility to Tydings Park, including building an all-access playground, expanding the sidewalk and parking along Commerce Street, and installing ADA compliant walkways throughout the park.

"My administration is not only committed to making Tydings Park one of the most beautiful parks in the country, we are also committed to making it accessible to everyone."

July 26, 2018 marks the 28th anniversary of the signing of the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990.
