On June 16, Rep. Harris expressed gratitude for receiving the Champion of Limited Government award. He stated, "Honored to receive the Champion of Limited Government award." He emphasized his commitment to reducing government size, protecting taxpayers, and defending American freedoms.
The following day, June 17, Rep. Harris celebrated a significant achievement in border security policy. He noted that no illegal aliens were released into the U.S. during May, contrasting with over 62,000 releases the previous year. In his post, he attributed this success to strong leadership from the President and Secretary Noem: " HUGE WIN FOR BORDER SECURITY "
On June 18, Rep. Harris commented on what he described as a victory for Americans' health with a brief statement: "This is a big WIN for Americans." The tweet included an encouraging note about making America healthy again.
Andy Harris has served in Congress since replacing Frank Kratovil in 2011 and previously held positions in Maryland's state legislature from 1999 to 2011. Born in New York City in 1957 and now residing in Cambridge, Harris graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
