Courtland Ace Hardware & Hearth to give away American flags

Courtland Ace Hardware & Hearth will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Maryland lost 431 soldiers in the Korean war and 639 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 6 N Bond St, Bel Air will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Jarrettsville-Manor Memorial Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Courtland Ace Hardware & Hearth while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Courtland Ace Hardware & Hearth is located at 6 N Bond St, Bel Air, Maryland. This location is owned by Michael J. Costello, represented by Jim Amell and managed by Mark Schmidt.
