ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY OFFICE OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT: Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks Update on COVID-19 Program and Athletics Cancellations

Anne Arundel County Office of Emergency Management issued the following announcement on March 13.

Over the past several weeks, the Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks has been working very closely with the county administration and all county agencies to develop a measured approach that will keep staff and residents safe with regard to the COVID-19 coronavirus. As this is a quickly evolving situation, we encourage you visit our website for the latest information on any cancelations and closures.

Earlier today, the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities announced that the eight senior activity center buildings will close for an indefinite period of time. The Department of Recreation and Parks uses senior centers to facilitate recreation programs.

Starting March 13, 2020 these programs will be postponed until further notice.
