Harford County Health Department issued the following announcement on Feb. 4.
Zach Kosinski is a Regional PrEP Navigator based at the Harford County Health Department. Serving as navigator for Harford, Cecil, Kent, and Queen Anne’s Counties, Zach works with other local health departments to build capacity to provide PrEP care on location and to increase access to PrEP more broadly in their communities.
Prior to taking on this role he coordinated Harford County’s overdose education and naloxone distribution program. Zach is relatively new to public health but has spent time in higher education, LGBTQ student support, and sexual assault prevention and response. As a queer-identified person and a person in long-term recovery, PrEP has made a difference in his life both personally and professionally, and he is committed to making PrEP accessible to every Marylander who seeks it.
Zach is a proud father to Louie, a 5-year-old gray tabby, and Phoebe, a 1-year-old torbie. Though partial to his cats, he recognizes the importance of collaboration and will work with dog people if absolutely necessary.
Zach’s office is at the Health Department’s Woodbridge location, located at 1321 Woodbridge Station Way, Edgewood, MD 21040. He can be reached at (410) 612-1779 or zachary.kosinski@maryland.gov.
