ABERDEEN POLICE DEPARTMENT: Employee Sprayed with Pepper Spray During Early Morning Robbery

Aberdeen Police Department issued the following announcement on Dec. 3.

Aberdeen Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying three men who robbed an employee at the Aberdeen Walmart located at 645 S. Philadelphia Blvd. The incident occurred on December 3, 2018 at 5:00 am when three men entered the store and approached an employee in the electronics section. While speaking with the employee at the counter, the group requested to view smart watches. Once the employee opened the locked storage areas, the group rushed the employee and shoved them to the ground. One of the suspects pepper sprayed the employee and the group stole various electronics. The suspects then fled the area in an unknown vehicle and direction. If anyone knows the identity of these subjects, please contact Sgt. Tomlinson of the Aberdeen Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division at 410-272-2121.
