Bel Air Police Department issued the following announcement on June 15.
Goose struck on Route 22 by Bynum Pond.
Officers rescued the goose after a brief struggle with other geese trying to protect their fallen comrade.
The injured goose is now being treated at the local emergency veterinarian center and is expected to recover. No “fowl” play was suspected in this incident
