Rep. Andy Harris, MD, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Maryland's 1st district, shared his views on recent legislative and public health issues through a series of tweets on March 4, 2025. The tweets addressed topics ranging from women's sports legislation to fentanyl overdoses and media appearances.

On March 4, 2025, Rep. Andy Harris criticized Democrats for blocking a Senate bill aimed at preventing men from participating in women's sports. He stated: "45 Democrats just blocked a Senate bill that would keep men out of women’s sports. When Democrats tell you they care about 'women’s rights' — don’t believe them."

Later the same day, he expressed concern over the increasing number of fentanyl overdose deaths in America, asserting that such a situation would not be tolerated under former President Trump: "More Americans are dying from fentanyl overdoses each year. This will not be tolerated under President Trump."

Additionally, Rep. Harris announced an upcoming live appearance on CBS News with the tweet: " Going live on @CBSNews NOW! Tune in!" This tweet was posted later on March 4, 2025.
