ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION: Board Of Education to Host Four Town Hall Meetings, Student Leadership Forum

Anne Arundel County Board of Education issued the following announcement on Feb. 10.

The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County will host four Town Hall Meetings and a Student Member of the Board (SMOB) Leadership Forum throughout the county over the next four months. The goal of these meetings is to collect feedback and input as well as provide a platform for students to voice their concerns.

The town hall meetings have been scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. as follows:

•Tuesday, February 25, 2020, in the cafeteria at North County High School

•Thursday, March 19, 2020, in the cafeteria at Northeast High School

•Wednesday, April 8, 2020, in the cafeteria at Meade High School

•Thursday, May 7, 2020, in the cafeteria at Southern High School

The SMOB Leadership forum will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2020, in the cafeteria at Severna Park High School.

Board Members cannot engage in conversation about student-specific concerns, personnel issues, and items under appeal or pending appeal.
