Anne Arundel County Board of Education issued the following announcement on Dec. 14.
Accidents at westbound Route 50 at Route 2 AND both directions on Route 100 near I-97 will have significant impacts on traffic and school bus service this afternoon. This will impact many schools countywide. Since buses serve multiple schools at various levels, students will remain safe and supervised at schools until buses arrive. All buses will make all stops, but may be delayed in getting to those stops. Please call your child's school to discuss the impact of this situation on that particular school.
