Harford County Maintenance Department issued the following announcement on Nov. 8.
This to advise that Governor Larry Hogan has ordered the Maryland State Flag be lowered to half-staff effective at sunrise, Saturday, November 10, 2018 and returned to full-staff at sunset, Saturday, November 10, 2018. This is in honor of Joseph Davies Tydings, a former United States Senator from Maryland, who passed away on October 8, 2018.
