Harford County Government issued the following announcement on Sept. 2.
Our Highways crews have been working hard this Labor Day weekend to get the roads open and passable. Where closed, road closure signs on barricades were installed today. Please obey these signs and do not try to pass. Even if a road looks okay, we have closed it for safety reasons that may not be immediately apparent.
About 20 roads were closed as of this morning; only eight are still closed. The following four will be closed for an extended time due the need for more extensive repairs:
Snake Lane – road closed at bridge (this was going to be closed Sept. 24 for construction anyway)
Graftons Lane – road washed out at culvert
Trappe Road – pipe washed out, large amount of debris and damage
Glen Cove Road (2 bridges)
The other four still closed are:
Thomas Run Rd – tree down and tangled in Verizon wire
Cedar Lane
Linkous Road
Neal Road
Thanks & be safe.
