Harford Community College issued the following announcement on June 19.
High textbook prices are a concern to many; our students are no exception. Asst. Professor Jessica Adams was awarded a $1,500 grant for developing innovative learning materials for her statistics course through the Maryland Open Educational Resources (OER) Mini-Grant Program. With OER funding, faculty develop learning materials that can save students money by replacing traditional textbooks.
