Harford Community College issued the following announcement on June 20.
“I believe that design students must engage in real world experiences that matter." Professor Ken Jones recently put his belief into action as he challenged his Intro to Graphic Communication students to create an identity, design standards, and marketing package for the Alfred B. Hilton nonprofit organization. Ken's students learned about volunteerism, how to work with actual clients, and a bit about Harford County history—all while developing portfolio pieces that will help land them internships and jobs.
