Virginia Union Panthers, featuring former The John Carroll School standout Travis Vaughn, were defeated 66-62 by the IUP Crimson Hawks in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament on Sunday, March 15.
The contest, held at Highmark Events Center at 5 p.m., marked the Panthers’ first tournament meeting with the IUP Crimson Hawks.
