Town of Bel Air Finance Department recently issued the following announcement.

An exploration of various healing paths available to us, conventional and otherwise. The event opens with a healing fair and opportunity to experience and learn about wellness resources (5 – 6:30), followed by Medicine to Heal the Heart presented by Maria Broom, nationally known actress, dancer, author and storyteller (6:30 – 7:30), and concludes with hands-on opportunities to sample such practices as yoga and therapeutic art activities.

Harford County hosts EMPOWERED Expo for teens and young adults with differing abilities

Harford County held its biennial EMPOWERED Expo on April 11 at Bel Air High School. The event connected over 150 teens and young adults with differing abilities—and their families—to resources supporting independence. More than 45 exhibitors participated in providing guidance on education plans, employment options, financial planning tools like ABLE accounts, guardianship alternatives, and state service eligibility.
