At 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, former Havre de Grace High School star Tai Turner and the Youngstown State Penguins were defeated 11-6 by the Kent State Golden Flashes in NCAA Division I softball play.

The contest was held at Judith K. Devine Diamond and marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. In the previous game at 2 p.m., the Penguins suffered a 7-1 loss to the Golden Flashes.

Turner went two for four at the plate, tallying three runs and an RBI.

The Penguins are set to play again Friday, April 24, against the IUPUI Jaguars at IU Indy Softball Complex.
