Harford student Giavanna Tserkis is this year's Student Commissioner for the Maryland Higher Education Commission. Gia, who is also SGA President this year, will serve a one-year term. Maryland Higher Education Commission is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising post-secondary education institutions in Maryland.
