Havre de Grace Decoy Museum issued the following announcement on June 21.
In the mid-1960's, given the decline in Chesapeake Bay duck hunting, the Uries turned to carving miniatures, which would become their true mainstay for many years to come. Over the years, these miniatures were purchased by and for many people of notoriety, including the Prime Minister of Australia and the Apollo 7 astronauts.
