Rep. Andy Harris, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Maryland’s 1st district, has shared his views on recent actions taken by President Trump through a series of tweets. Harris has been serving in Congress since 2011 after succeeding Frank Kratovil and has an extensive political career that includes serving in the Maryland Senate from 1999 to 2011.

On March 5, 2025, Rep. Andy Harris expressed his support for President Trump’s initiative to eliminate critical race theory from schools. In a tweet, he stated: “Our country will be woke no longer.” He added that President Trump is “removing the poison of critical race theory from our schools.”

Later that day, at 03:16:39 UTC, Harris commended President Trump for taking significant executive actions aimed at restoring the nation. He urged legislative backing by stating: “It’s time for Congress to codify his agenda.”

In another tweet posted at 03:38:55 UTC on the same day, Rep. Harris highlighted a message delivered by President Trump to American children. The tweet read: “President Trump just told every child in America they were perfect—exactly the way God made them.” He questioned why Democrats would not support this message.
