He stated that they “were ambushed in Texas today — the result of a reckless narrative that vilifies law enforcement and downplays the border crisis.” “These heroes risk their lives to keep our communities safe,” he continued, calling for support for law enforcement.
In another post on July 8, 2025, Rep. Harris expressed agreement with President Trump’s stance on Ukraine. He tweeted: “President Trump is right: Ukraine must be able to defend itself.” Harris advocated for sending additional weapons to Ukraine to deter aggression and protect American service members from being deployed.
