Rep. Andy Harris, who represents Maryland’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on his activities and personal celebrations through a series of posts on social media.
On February 13, Harris highlighted his participation in a regional economic event: “Yesterday I attended the Taste of the Eastern Shore and spoke with local business owners and community leaders about strengthening our Shore economy. With more than 175 lawmakers, cabinet officials, staff, and local representatives in attendance, Eastern Shore vendors showcased https://t.co/spEoYftuDg”.
Two days later, on February 14, he marked a personal occasion by posting: “Wishing a happy Valentine’s Day to my amazing wife Nicole. https://t.co/OijrqbHlUy”.
On February 16, Harris acknowledged a national holiday with another post: “Happy Presidents’ Day! https://t.co/4aeYlHfBer”.
Andy Harris has represented Maryland’s 1st District in Congress since 2011 after succeeding Frank Kratovil. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in both the Maryland House of Representatives and the Maryland Senate from 1999 to 2011.
