Rep. Andy Harris, a U.S. Congressman representing Maryland’s 1st district since 2011, has shared several posts on social media recently, highlighting his views and interactions with constituents regarding energy policies and other topics.

On February 17, Rep. Harris marked the federal holiday with a simple message: “Happy Presidents’ Day!”

Two days later, on February 19, he posted an image without accompanying text or context. The post can be viewed here: link.

On the same day, Rep. Harris expressed concern over rising energy costs attributed to state policies. He stated: “My constituents call me daily to tell me their energy bills have skyrocketed because of Maryland’s ‘Green New Deal’ energy policies.” He questioned the actions of Maryland’s Attorney General in this context by adding that the official is occupied with “fighting President Trump for declaring a national energy emergency,” which he described as “unbelievable.”
