Rep. Andy Harris, MD, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Maryland’s 1st district since 2011, has recently taken to social media to discuss various topics related to the President’s budget and his upcoming media appearances.

On May 2, 2025, Rep. Harris announced his appearance on Fox Business with Guy Benson. He invited viewers to “tune in” for a discussion about the President’s budget and other issues.

The following day, May 3, 2025, Rep. Harris shared his views on the President’s budget via Twitter. He stated that “the President’s budget is structured so we break the spending habit in Washington, eliminate the woke spending in the federal bureaucracy, and then deliver on the President’s agenda.” He directed followers to Fox Business for more information.

On May 5, 2025, Rep. Harris informed his audience of another media engagement on WBAL Radio at 8:05 am. He encouraged listeners to “tune in” for this broadcast as well.

Andy Harris has been an active figure in U.S. politics since replacing Frank Kratovil in Congress in 2011. Before serving in Congress, he was a member of both the Maryland House of Representatives and Senate from 1999 to 2011. Born in New York City in 1957 and currently residing in Cambridge, Harris graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
