Harris highlighted the decrease in Guatemalan migrants attempting to cross the southern U.S. border over a year-long period as evidence of President Trump’s commitment to securing national borders. “A year ago in February, more than 23,000 Guatemalans made a run at the southern border. Last month, agents reported fewer than 1,500.” He emphasized this point by stating that “President Trump is keeping his promise to secure our border.”
