Born in New York City in 1957 and currently residing in Cambridge, Harris has been active in politics for several decades, having previously served in the Maryland Senate from 1999 to 2011.

In a subsequent tweet dated February 13, 2025, he expressed his opinion about the Democratic party’s stance on certain issues: “Everything the Democrats don’t like is a ‘constitutional crisis.’ The bottom line is President Trump is using his authority to go after the deep state and they don’t like it.”
