Rep. Andy Harris, currently serving Maryland’s 1st congressional district, posted several updates on his social media account on October 2, 2025, addressing both his upcoming radio appearance and his views on recent government funding debates.
In a post at 11:49 a.m. on October 2, Harris announced his participation in a radio segment: “Coming up on @WGMDRadio around 8:05 this morning. Tune in!”
Later that day, Harris commented on ongoing discussions regarding government funding measures. At 7:54 p.m., he stated: “Democrats backed this same funding measure 13 times — now they’re shutting down the government over it. The message is clear: they don’t care about keeping the government open they care about pleasing their radical left base.” He also shared an additional post linking to further information at the same time: “https://t.co/fAtCFg3HhF”
