On Saturday, Nov. 29, former Joppatowne High School standout Shawn Cain’s current collegiate team the Susquehanna Riverhawks won 42-28 against the Christopher Newport Captains in the NCAA Division III Football Championship.
The game took place at TowneBank Stadium at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Christopher Newport Captains in the tournament.
The Susquehanna Riverhawks’ next game will take place on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 12 p.m. at RSR Pavilion.
