Harford County officials announced on May 5 the launch of the Harford County Celebration Trail, an interactive experience featuring 63 historic sites across the county in honor of America’s 250th birthday.

The new self-guided trail is designed for residents and visitors to explore museums, historic homes, landmarks, and other sites that highlight important people and events from both local and national history. The initiative aims to encourage community engagement with Harford’s heritage during this milestone year.

“Harford’s Celebration Trail brings our rich history to life in a way that’s interactive, accessible, and fun,” County Executive Bob Cassilly said. “Whether you’re visiting for the first time or rediscovering your hometown, this experience encourages you to explore, learn, and celebrate along the way.”

The trail was developed by Hello Harford—the county’s tourism marketing division within the Department of Economic Development—in collaboration with the America 250 in Harford County Committee. It uses the Let’s Rallie mobile app so users can navigate locations at their own pace and track which sites they have visited.

To participate, individuals download Let’s Rallie from either the App Store or Google Play and search for the Harford County Celebration Trail. Users can check in at each site through an in-app feature and monitor their progress via a dedicated section. Those who record the most site visits using Let’s Rallie throughout 2026 will be eligible for special giveaways provided by Hello Harford.

Officials encourage anyone interested in updates or more information about events tied to America’s semiquincentennial celebration to follow Hello Harford on social media.
