Harford County had one gas station selling regular gas at the lowest price of $2.54 per gallon during the week ending Jan. 3, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The county registered an average of $2.87 per gallon for regular gas.
Of the 91 reported gas stations located within Harford County, 67 offered regular gas.
For comparison, the average price of regular gas in Maryland was $2.85 per gallon for the week ending Jan. 3, up from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
