Midgrade gas was sold at the lowest price of $3.01 per gallon at one gas station in Harford County during the week ending Jan. 3, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, midgrade gas averaged $3.30 per gallon.
Harford County had 39 of 91 reported gas stations offering midgrade gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of midgrade gas in Maryland was $3.44, up from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
