Of the 252,222 people living in Harford County in 2019, 51 percent (128,673) were women and 49 percent (123,549) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Harford News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 78,948-to-76,858. In the 65 and over age range, there were 22,381 females and 17,467 males.
