BEL AIR POLICE DEPARTMENT: Bel Air paramedics, firefighters rescue puppy whose head was stuck in broken glass

Bel Air Police Department issued the following announcement on June 24.

The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company posted on Facebook that they rescued a puppy dog, whose head was stuck in a broken glass jar.

The dog was brought in by Bel Air Police Department Officer Keith Smithson, along with her owner Kerry Lee.

Right away, Keith, Lieutenant McNutt, Firefighter Brett Godwin, Firefighter Brian Winchester and Paramedic Corinne Woomer-McNutt put their heads together and helped free Delilah.

Firefighters say “not your ordinary Saturday afternoon but one for the story books.”
