Rep. Andy Harris, MD, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Maryland’s 1st district, shared a series of tweets on July 4th, 2025, celebrating Independence Day and expressing gratitude towards a fellow individual.

Born in New York City in 1957 and residing in Cambridge, Andy Harris has been part of the U.S. Congress since replacing Frank Kratovil in 2011. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Johns Hopkins University and previously served in both the Maryland House of Representatives and Senate.
