Rep. Andy Harris, MD, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Maryland’s 1st District since 2011, recently shared several posts on social media. These posts reflect his political stance and personal sentiments on various topics.

On June 14, 2025, Rep. Harris extended birthday wishes to former President Donald Trump. In his post, he expressed gratitude for Trump’s leadership and dedication to the American people: “Happy Birthday, President Trump! Thank you for your leadership, your fight for the American people, and your unwavering love for this great nation. Wishing you many more years of strength, success, and America First victories!”

In another post dated June 15, 2025, Rep. Harris commented on an incident at a Democrat rally in Cambridge, Maryland. He tagged Elon Musk’s security detail in his tweet and criticized the nature of protesters present at the event: “CC’ing Elon Musk’s Security Detail. This was seen at a Democrat rally in Cambridge, Maryland. Apparently these are the ‘non-violent, peaceful’ protesters attending the Democrat rallies. Don’t be fooled: The Democrats are the party of hate.”

Later that day on June 15th, Rep. Harris took to social media again to acknowledge Father’s Day with a message directed towards fathers in his district and nationwide: “Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad’s in Maryland’s First District and across the country.”

Rep. Andy Harris has been serving in Congress since replacing Frank Kratovil in 2011 after previously serving from 1999 to 2011 in both the Maryland House of Representatives and Senate.
