Rep. Andy Harris, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Maryland’s 1st District, posted several messages on social media on April 4, 2025, touching upon upcoming media appearances, the topic of gender in sports, and America’s trade barriers.

On April 4, 2025, Rep. Harris announced his appearance on a local television show: ” Coming up on @FOXBaltimore around 7:15 this morning. Tune in!”

Later that morning, he addressed a contentious issue involving sports and gender: “Good for this University of Maryland fencer for bravely standing up for women. Biological men should not be allowed to compete in women’s sports.”

In a separate post also on April 4, 2025, Harris voiced his concerns about U.S. trade policies: “The bottom line is the only thing we’ve been exporting here in the United States over the last few decades are jobs. The trade barriers that have been set up hurt our farmers, hurt our industries, hurt our factories and the President had to do something about it.”
