Rep. Andy Harris, MD, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Maryland’s 1st district, has been active on social media with several posts regarding recent events and announcements. Born in New York City in 1957 and residing in Cambridge, Harris has served in Congress since 2011 after replacing Frank Kratovil.

On December 9, 2024, Rep. Andy Harris shared his thoughts on a recent legal outcome involving New York prosecutor Alvin Bragg. He described it as “Another embarrassment for New York prosecutor Alvin Bragg as jury finds hero Daniel Penny not guilty.”
